Welcome to Continental Virtual Airlines (CVA) your new virtual aviation home. We are committed to giving you the service we have been recognized for. This year we will continue to improve this airline to the stature it deserves. These improvements will give our loyal pilots more of the enjoyment and realism they want, expect and deserve. Our goal is to offer our valuable pilots a virtual airline reflecting the operations of the real world airline, at all times our staff will maintain close personal contact with all our pilots,

In Operation since 1997, Many can copy us, none can be us

New pilots joining Continental Virtual Airlines start their career at the NWVA et al Central Training Facility where they will get the chance to learn to fly aircraft, learn navigation techniques, and learn about online flying and also getting the most out of their flight simulator.  The C.T.F is headed by Roger Neaves who was the Chief training pilot for British Airways. If British Airways trusted our staff, you know you will be in capable hands.

After 10 flight hours at the C.T.F, you will start your Continental Virtual Airlines career at one of the three Continental Virtual Airlines operational hubs where you will begin to fly the routes and aircraft imitating the operations of Continental Airlines and Continental Express.

At the active hubs, pilots are assigned flights by a Hub Manager The pilot will then send in a flight report to his Hub Manager and request further assignments. The pilot may fly these assignments at his own leisure. There is no requirement to fly these flights online, nor are there any minimum flights required each week. How-ever, if after 30 days of non flying, the Hub Manager may place the pilot on the inactive role.

At all times, pilots will be in contact with real people who are here to help you and look after you’re every need. Continental Virtual Airlines will never be a robotic site, you the pilot will always come first.

At the Operational hubs, pilots are allocated routes and aircraft to fly by the Hub Manager. After pilots fly the assigned routes, they send in the flight reports back to the Hub Manager who will keep a Hub roster record of the pilots’ hours and send out further assignments.

Not only will pilots be in close personal contact with the Hub Managers, but pilots will also be able to keep in contact with every pilot and staff member of all NWVA et al Airlines with the use of the dedicated nwva.org e-mail system.
